1)What will be taught?

These classes are private online reading sessions where I am working with your child one on one on skills and strategies they need to help improve their reading.

2) What topics will I cover?

Students will read an online book, learn vocabulary, answer comprehension questions, and I will focus on literacy skills the student needs based on their on their reading level. In our first session, I will assess the child's reading to determine his/her level and in our following classes, lessons will be tailored to their reading level.

. I am a Certified Elementary Classroom teacher, ESL, and Reading Specialist, so I have experience teaching students to read. We will work on phonics skills, story elements, and work on writing skills. 3) Please have the student in a well lit, quiet area ready to learn. Make sure the student brings materials for writing such as a whiteboard, paper, pencil, dry erase markers, ect.
